Im bored, Ill and cannot sleep and ended up thinking what happened to that little nice blockbuster thread (I think my forced absence may of killed it off oops).

So if anybody is interested here is a little question to start us off

The two Belgian Race winners are Jacy Ickx and.........(B - Surname)

Ferguson (it won a race as well - find out when and where?)

What H designed the Suzuka and Zandvoort circuits?

Oooh I think I know this one. The Ferguson P99 won it's only race at a non-championship event in 1961. It was driven by Stirling Moss. I have a feeling the event was the Empire Trophy at Brands but I'm not certain on that.

I have no idea about your actual question so I will re-post it so that it dosn't break the chain.

Sorry, I'm terrible for steering threads off-topic, promise I won't do it again!

You were almost there, right driver, right year, but it was the Gold Cup at Oulton Park (it was a wet race, naturally).

Back to the Blockbusters:

I seem to have stumped the panel.

The answer was Hans Hugenholtz.

What V is between Stowe and Club?

Assuming I'm right which M took part in 77 Grands Prix but only managed one podium finish?

In that case our database is wrong then as we have Wolf as follows:
First Race: 02 May 1976
First Win: 09 January 1977

Walter Wolf brought out Frank Williams' old team during the 1975 season (after already owning a part of the team and propping up the fiances) in 1976, but only officially became Walter Wolf Racing in 1977

Thanks AMR.
Might need to tweak the data a bit then to correct that.

Normal service is now resumed and back on topic.... :D
