big game today. i feel strangely confident we are playing very well. took the team that will lift the title in may all the way on Monday. but Portsmouth have always been strong at home

All the Blades off to Portsmouth on Valentine’s Day. have my respect. I couldn’t do it. Once you factor in one of the longest journeys of the season, then cost of travel, tickets, food and the impending divorce. it just wasn’t worth it.

a very scrappy game. Portsmouth better in the 1st half. utd having great spells in 2nd half. shouldve finished 0-0. but we managed to take 1 of our chances at the end. but thats football

i would say for us charlton at home was the same. shouldve finished 0-0 but charlton scraped at goal in stoppage time

That was a game of 2 halves. An outstanding first 30 minutes, a perfect start. It genuinely couldn’t have gone much better. Such a calm finish as well, 1-0 after 2 minutes which settled all the “cup tie” nerves. Then the 1st half fizzled out because we were finding it too eeay & then the ref changed the game.

For me, phillips was a yellow at most. Ingelsson goes for a ball he knows he’s always second to. it wasn’t even 50/50. Phillips had passed it well before Ingelsson was on the scene. If you arrive after I’ve passed the ball, you’re going to get hurt.
I think that’s what caused Wednesday’s momentum shift, because after that the players looked terrified to put a foot in.

but doesn't matter how you get the win the derby as long as you do. espically when you get the chance to confirm their relegation

Nope, it was an awful game.

No excuses, we were rubbish and Vale, though not much better, deserved the win.

With Spurs in free fall and Forest and West Ham making progress, it's a real possibility.

The last time Spurs were in the second division was the 1977-78 season where they achieved their record league win by beating Bristol Rovers 9-0.

Let's hope they don't have a similar success if they had to come to Ashton Gate.

awful 2nd half. i was saying in the car after WBA if our defending doesn't severely improve. we would lose the next 3. we lost to norwich & i cant see is getting anything from the next 2. also we gone to the bad days of October & november. of being decent 1st half & absolutely 2nd half

i was saying at home just before Norwich made it 2-1. i do have wonder about our defensive organisation. as at times its like we've gone back to the days of selles. opposition have large gaps to run in & all we find a dead ends & if you give good players time & space they will punish you. we are giving good players all the time in the world

the only positive is we aren't part of that relegation battle. that looks terrifying

My lot have been absolute shite since mid Jan when for some reason it was decided that our manager could do without his two best players and that Wrexham and Ipswich needed them more than we did.

The only thing keeping me amused now is hoping that Disney FC don't go up.

as you could see. it was infuriating performance most irritating home game since derby on 1st November. it was 1 way traffic & absolute domination for nearly an hour. 11 shots in 1st 45 mins couldve been leading 3-0. with 2 tap ins missed & disallowed goal for offside

we found a way to lose it. absolutely useless. our defensive organisation hasnt improved that much compared to selles. we gifted wrexham 2 goals. & excluding our biggest rivals there nobody i hate losing to more than those bunch of arrogant tossers
