313 MPG Volkswagen

German car companies are upping their game against the Japanese in producing ultra efficient cars. VW are showing a new car at the Qatar motor show which has a 2 cylinder diesel engine and an electric motor. t will do 313 MPG, 0-60 in 11.9 seconds and even doesn't look too bad. Shame about the name though - the XL1

That car is without a doubt ugly.

Why is it whenever a car maker builds a car that is supposed to be futeristic they dig out a copy of Space 1999 on betamax just to revise what it's supposed to look like?

Still, at 313mpg, I'd have one

They forgot to draw the rear wheels on! What's wrong with a car having four wheels, for christ's sake!
It looks like it could be mounted on casters at the rear...

Too weird to be good looking or ugly - I think I'll stick to an overheated Corrado... the rear end has definitely melted, and somehow it makes me think of spandex - I think I'm going to have to get some help...

I'll bet it would be fun to change a wheel though!
