I dont think the two race ban was unfair because Benetton ignored two penalties in the race. Had they pulled into the pits then no punishment would have been served

Incidentally Schumacher's plank wear was 7.4mm way over the tolerance at the rear not at the front when he spun over the kerb

Hamilton's performances have been getting increasingly painful to watch. He reminds me (a little) of Damon Hill in 1999 - still able to put in a good showing occasionally, but his heart doesn't seem to be in it.

That being said, he is still 6th in the WDC, and ahead of the driver who took his seat at Mercedes... However, this says more about the performance gap between the top 4 teams, and the rest...

Yeah, he's going through the motions isn't he.

He should have walked away after safety car-gate.

He doesn't need F1 and with the next generation firmly through the door, F1 doesn't really need Lewis anymore.

I want to believe him but he has got to be honest with himself now. Its like turning up.to work knowing you are not enjoying but dredding every moment. You have to knuckle down or seriously move on

Hamilton a strange 1, because i dont think ive ever seen a sportsman who is so dependent on his emotions. because he gets far too low on him when things are going bad. as if its end of the world & its truly hopeless. when we know he's got the talent

i think 2026 make or break & all rumours come out of F1, in "if you dont have mercedes engine you might as well not turn up" i fear it's break. i think next season is Lewis Hamilton final season & depending on how bad mid season.

I would demand get Bono in his pit crew if Ferrari say No then I think it willbe painful exit as Adami is hopeless

I said it years ago.

He should have retired when the FIA gifted the WDC to Verstappen and I predicted that he would have his arse handed to him at Ferrari.

Hopefully he won't hang on as long as Schumacher - that was painful.
