The current alumni of graduation from DTM to F1 consists of Christian Albert, Paul Di Resta and Pascal Wherlein.
The latter is not doing bad but you kind of think that despite of his time in DTM rather than because of it.

Jan Magnussen - dubbed "the Best natural talent since Ayrton Senna "by no less than JYS who had Mercedes and Mclaren nurturing his young career. Then it went pearshaped joining his old F3 team Stewart barely lasting two seasons and complaining he did not get enough testing opportunities
Giancarlo Fisichella - 3 wins but they should have been more had he not let Flavio Briatore dictate his career too much joining teams at the wrong time

RasputinLives Vandoorne is going to be in F1 no matter what if Mclaren don;t place him, Renault will pitting Magnussen vs Vandoorne again that is some partnership and possible rivals for many years

The only thing I noticed was apparently Vettel pushed to for Raikkonen to stay .
Whilst on one hand Ferrari's drivers are the least of their problems ... they are not doing as well as they ought to be
I should say Arrivabene will probably take the wrap next season if Ferrari don't look like challengers whilst Raikkonen is going to take his last pay cheque

Don't know where the rumours are circulating but Sainz to Renault makes very little sense unless Red Bull will get some whopping engine discount...and really after the treatment they gave Renault last year .. they don't deserve it

It makes even less sense as Sainz has already signed to be with Torro Rosso next year.

It makes little sense unless someone is trying to drive the Carlos Sainz PR machine but that has probably run out of steam for this season unless Ferrari do a swerve and sign him and drop Raikkonen
As attractive as it sounds to be with Renault with their history I don't see how he could be there long term with the list of young drivers in waiting they have

there are no decent seats up for grabs and as soon as Raikkonen was confirmed that is the end of the silly season unless Ron does one of his stupid ditherings in naming his drivers
I would like Jenson to sign the contract at Williams.... he should do a Mansell TV speech ala 1990 to state that he is racing for the world championship and not to make up numbers

I think Lynn is a very talented driver but I think others prob deserve an F1 seat in front of him at the moment.

Having not rated him that much suddenly Gasly has found himself in the championship lead and right on queue to push himself into the Toro Rosso seat ( poor Dani Kyvat)

Brawn would not go back because of the politics. He had Todt backing his corner last time but he was overlooked for the team principal role and left and probably knew what was coming with Luca Di Montezemolo wanting a more Italian looking team

RasputinLives Lynn is good & there is a likelyhood 2017 could be Button & Bottas/Lynn at Williams. but watching GP2 this year he wouldn't even be 1st on the list, i think Pierre Gasly Giovernazi & Oliver Rowland deserve it more (nothing do with Rowland being from Sheffield

Incidentally our friend gets pieces to translate into Italian that are written in such bad English that she sometimes has to guess what is intended. But then reporters nowadays seem to have missed out on passing English Language in GCSE exams.
