Football 2011/12 Football Season

Well Arsenal have slumped to a new low :(. Feel so sorry for their fans that travelled to both Milan and Sunderland this week. But surely now Wenger must see that he needs to spend in the summer. Ideal they'd best go for Gourcuff, Samba and try and sign Lass Diarra and Lukas Podolski aswell. Plus i don't think Sagna is all that good either and i can't think of who is better at LB Gibbs or Santos. Also if their sell Van Persie to Real Madrid in the Summer if i was Arsenal i'd be tempted to say £10M cash + Higiuan and you've got yourselves a deal. But taking nothing away from Sunderland here, they'd put a game plan in place and it paid off. Thought Cattermole, Gardner, Sessengon, O'Shea and McClean were on top form. What i'd do now to see Cattermole back in a Boro shirt :(. Bet Liverpool are gutted they couldn't get him away from the North East.

Real Madrid 13 points ahead in La Liga tonight. If their win at the Nou Camp and keep this 13 points gap they'll win the La Liga crown at the Home of Barcelona. Big ask though but i think Barcelona are much more focused on been the first team ever to win in the Champions League era to win it back to back. But i gotta feeling that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid might have something to say about that.

On to the Championship, Glad Southampton are back on top as i can't stand West Ham United. Boro now have 1 or 2 games in hand over teams around us, but we need to capitalise on that and win those games in hand. Gutted we're losing Barry Robson though in the summer, he was one of Gordon Strachans better signings. Really hope that now Lukas Jutkiewicz has got his first goal under his belt that he'll bang in a few more goals to help our promotion cause.

Also really surprised to see Nott's County have sacked Martin Allen, he leaves them in Mid-table in League 1 and without a manager with only 16 games to go.

Plus well done Birmingham :) on their draw at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup today, they've earned themselves a money spinning replay at St Andrews and it wouldn't surprise me to see them pull off a shock.

5-star performance from the Dons today, attacking at will!
Wenger needs to sign Hazard, Gotze, Samba and Gourcuff;
exchange RVP for Higuain plus £15m, sell Rosicky, Almunia, Squillaci, Park, and Arshavin.

Just a tad..... it's times like this when it's brilliant to support two teams.... thankfully the Dons have saved double embarrassment by winning 5-0 against Oldham.

Well I've not had the greatest of seasons for sport...no Moose, Wolves in a bad positio ees diffico fo sho (Massa), Massa wasn't great either, Arsenal are bollocks...the list is endless.

Looking forward to seeing Real Madrid in the Champions League tomorrow night.
Thinking they'll win out in Russia 2-0 with Ronaldo and Di Maria(if fit, if not then Benzema) with the goals.

Should be interesting to see how Chelsea do in Naples tomorrow night aswell. I reckon they'll struggle Napoli are a very good team and Cavini, Lavezzi and Hamsik are a class front 3 for them.

ITV are showing Marseille v Inter Milan on Wednesday night.

Also anyone up for a footie predictions league sort of thing next season?

Chelsea will lose against Napoli, agree about Real Madrid. And as for the prediction thing, I'm up for it!!

TACTICAL PREVIEW - STOKE CITY vs SWANSEA CITY & ARSENAL vs TOTTENHAM - PREMIER LEAGUE 26/2/11

Big Bloke City play Brcellwna in a fierce clash of styles at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday. Brcellwna's formation will be an intricate web of triangles designed to confuse and bemuse any opponent (shown in orange) while Big Bloke will play 4-4-2, probably.

While Brcellwna will play the ball an average of 3m per pass, Big Bloke are likely to push an average of 50m per pass (including throw-ins), using diagonals to make their passes longer and probably less successful. It is considered by experts that Brcellwna will be interested in playing the ball, while Big Bloke will be more interested in playing the man.

NORTH LONDON DERBY

Another game played this Sunday will be the North London Derby between Saint Harry's Super Spurs (SHSS) and Arsenal University. Having seen all their best players graduate last summer, and with Jack Wilshire taking a leave of absence this semester, Arsenal U are having their academic standards challenged this year.

SHSS are likely to line up in a sort-of 4-4-2 formation with Scott Parker attempting to block shots that will never come. Arsenal U are likely to field 4 defenders and 6 midfielders. Though those midfielders are likely to be taking courses as diverse as Running Quickly, Scoring Goals, Advanced Pissing About and Being Tomas Rosicky, their main function is to pass the ball between each other without crossing the red line displayed above before SHSS nick the ball and break.

Meanwhile, SHSS's attack is likely to be founded on the twin principles of working out where Gareth Bale is at the precise moment of time, and passing it to him. Modric, Assou-Ekotto, Friedel, Adebayor, etc..., are likely to have recovered from Facuptieataleagueonegrounditis and be ready to play this fixture.

Bye Bye Arshavin! I doubt you'll be coming back to England after your loan spell at Zenit.

On a side note, Absolutely buzzing that Rhys Williams is staying at the Boro having signed a 4 and a half year deal. Also lots of rumours are going round that we've signed Jonjo Shelvey on loan for the rest of the season, good signing that if you ask me :).

I think Arsene Wenger is playing a game: 'How many players can I get rid of before signing anybody?'
Also, David Bentley might come to the MIGHTY MK Dons!
