Current Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton MBE

A place to put all the posts from all the other threads primarily but love him or hate him, and even for the indifferent amongst us this is the place to discuss the marmite that is Lewis Hamilton, to learn a thing or two about his rise, talk about those controversial, genius or mad moments and something that i am bemused by, the recent articles that suggest something quite different to my perception of what's going on. Any experiences of meeting LH?

Brundle had to write a Lewis Hamilton article recently and in my tweets (which were probably ignored) I asked him to talk about LH the driver not LH the personality. It seems that you can't have one without the other.

So as a starter for ten, here is a fairly recent LH article. Posts should not be limited to this link but it can get some discussion going. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/formula_one/13755883.stm

The only banned topic as it is clearly ridiculous involves these four things "Glock" "2008" "Brazil" "conspiracy"

Lewis has split with his GF.

Maybe that was the problem all along, and my analysis of Lewis's problems (suggesting that he lacks political abilities) was off the mark.

If Lewis wins I think he should copy Balotelli and reveal this under his overalls on the podium. Though in Formula One he'd probably get a rather bigger fine than the yellow card Balotelli got.

Wow... I got that wrong then didn't I? Unless McLaren's offer was astronomic... Well played JB and his management team but does anyone else think this all leaves Lewis a bit isolated, just when he needs to feel the love the most? Wasn't McLaren supposed to be Lewis' team?

I had a feeling something was up with Nicole. He looked like a love sick puppy the last few races i thought.

Hopefully we will soon see "the old Lewis" as Whitmarsh said...

I didn't think his season could get any worse....but I forgot about the Massa factor.

It's almost certain now that Button will finish the season ahead on points, which will be a new experience for Hamilton.

Edit: Another very despondent post-race interview from him. He looks and sounds like a broken man.

Regarding his helmet design this weekend, I reckon it's to do with Bob Marley's song "No woman, no cry".
No its not. Its about the song 'One Love' with the lyrics‘Let’s get together and feel all right’ . I think its about the deaths of the two drivers and getting through that sort of thing. Hamilton told reporters on Thursday: “These times are sent to try you. And it’s about how you pull through them.”
