Well that's one of the beauties (or not) of Monaco. That "circuit" will never be perfect. Remember Barrichello's reaction in 2010 when a loose drain/manhole cover pitched him into the barriers? He threw his steering wheel out of the cockpit which Chandhok then proceeded to drag around for half a lap. :D

Dan Gurney giving the first Formula 1 wins to Porsche, Brabham and Eagle (the best-looking F1 car of all time). To my knowledge, only Jackie Stewart joins Dan is providing initial F1 wins to 3 makes: Matra, March and Tyrell, which is a pretty good measure of Dan's greatness.

siffert_fan - 3 debut winners for Gurney - from only 4 victories total. Which is a statistic that suggests that he was a great driver in a series of not-so-great cars.

As of today's lot, Vettel is on 2 (STR and RBR) and Button is on 1 (Brawn).

IMO Gurney would have been WDC in 1964 if the Brabham had been at all reliable. He led most races, only for something to break. I know that he fell out of one race that year because his steering wheel broke!!! Nobody but Gurney or Amon could have had that kind of luck (interestingly enough, though both had terrible racing luck, both survived a very lethal era, so they were very lucky as well).
