Television Best and worst of Television!

The various recent Sherlock remakes have all been pretty good, even the films.

Wheeler Dealers - just can't stop watching it. Also, Storage Hunters where Americans bid on storage lockers - fascinating to see what the find inside them.

Don't you think storage hunters is a bit staged? Not to the level of lizard lick towing. I don't know of that is so bad it's good or just plain bad.

There was a show I remember on Saturday night called Man o man with the hit song " Horny"

I remember it was like where the audience were female and they basically choose which man they wanted to stay until the next round. The men who got eliminated were pushed into a pool. It was bought over from Germany and they ran it on Saturday night on ITV

I thought what a load of :censored: this was because you hear all women screaming in the crowd whilst the man gets pushed into the pool

It was on about 7-9pm and really I was thinking if it was the other way round it would have been branded sexist, degrading and all sorts of anti feminism criticism

Never watched the following but for those who had Sky there were two notorious programmes that were condemned
From Endemol who also produce Big Brother UK

1- Temptation Island - straight couples test their faithfulness by being separated on an island with male and female strangers . So basically try and see who had the will power to stay loyal through a string of temptations. Obviously included using alcohol to loose inhibitions and obviously they got cameras for the other half to see

The strangers role were to tempt them into a shag. So you could imagine the morality of the programme as well in deliberately trying to break up people's relationship

The UK ran for 1 season included so- the US one was hosted by Mark Wahlberg when he was a lad:crazy::embarrassed:
The UK one had a single woman who was actually a porn star as well just to drag it through controversy

Most countries managed only 1 season of this show except the Dutch and French

2. There is something about Miriam originally titled Find me a Man

I read about this in a paper. What happened was 6 single guys were promised a better career and £10,000 prize money if they could get to know Miriam and woo her . It lasted 6 episodes

It was disclosed in the final episode Miriam was born a man ... what followed was a lawsuit that the TV station caused emotional and psychological damage , defamation to these single men for not disclosing Miriam was a pre op trans woman

On the Apprentice the other night the team were asked to get a flag 6ft x 4ft for one of the biggest (In size.) hotels in the world, the people who made the flag only dealt in metric and so the team converted feet into cm's they surmised that there were 12cm to a foot and asked for a flag measuring 72cm x 48cm and ended up with a tiny little flag...ROFL

Nick Hewer said it would look like a pimple on an elephant...

These are supposed to be top business people and they can't even do simple maths ffs.....

Whoop!

Aye, I saw the trailer, just said "coming soon", and I was like "aw nae ya bam!"

Seen a few on You Tube this last week. If you have Sky+HD you can download the box set of series 1 from catch-up. It's only got the first three up but the rest will follow in the coming weeks :). Totes forgot how good the first episode was :).
