Trip to Brands Hatch - Sunday 4 October

After the disastrous attempt to arrange a trip to Thruxton earlier this year, I'm a glutton for punishment so I'm going to try once more :D

The idea is to go to the racing on Sunday 4 October, not the qualifying on Saturday 3 October ...you know who you are ;)
People can either arrange to sit together or just be more casual and meet in the beer tent or at intervals during the day, or not at all LOL

General admission costs £23.00.
The cheapest grandstand seat is £6 for the Desire Wilson section.
Alternatively it's £10 for the Pit Straight or £14 for Paddock Hill.
Parking is £5.00.

So 2 people in the Desire Wilson grandstand with parking would cost £63.

If you're interested, let me know with numbers and your preference so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Advance ticket booking closes 12:00 Wednesday 30 September so any orders will need to be placed before that time.
Obviously the later we leave it, the less chance there is of getting tickets so I think we should put a cut-off of Monday 21 September.

If people want to travel down the night before, we are able to put some people up, as long as you don't mind sleeping on an inflatable mattress or the sofa :D
We live about 20 miles from the circuit, probably 45 mins to 1 hour by car at the worst case, although we will actually be taking the train.

With a little luck myself and the good lady will be attending. I think our plan is to sit in the Des Wilson stand. Good views for the cost.

Looking forward to it especially if Johnny Herbert joins the series for the last 3 races.

I romantically suggested a trip to the BTCC might be an excellent anniversary trip for me and Mrs Fat Bloke (anniversary being 3rd October) but it was not well received. I might see if there is something to interest her in the area for a long weekend and drop into Brands on the Sunday "as we are passing".

I'll let you know how negotiations go...
