Teams vs BE and the FIA

What I find interesting is how Bernie has been able to cultivate the fantasy that F1 can't survive without him. You have to raise your hat to him.

Or your middle finger. I raise both!

There will be some sort of trade-off going on here. Delaying the turbos, letting in customer or third cars, something like that. If Todt and Ecclestone are working in concert, though, that would be a new development, I think.

Is it just me that find this quite repellent?

Milking the cash cow until it's dry springs to mind.

The FIA has been seeking more money from Ecclestone's companies to ensure it is sufficiently funded. In return, Ecclestone has been demanding concessions on how the sport is run. The FIA have decided they could secure some of the costs from the teams.

Now Bernie is whining about the sound the 2014 engines make!
Hey Bernie, how about this to solve the problem: Equip every car with an integrated loudspeaker that plays the exhaust note of some of your favourite cars--like the 1968 Matra v12, the Ferrari with the Comprex supercharger etc?
