Flicking through the various pointless channels I pay Rupert Murdoch for every month I came across a series of driver profile films on Films 24 (Sky channel 157). I watched one on Lewis Hamilton which had some interesting interviews but very limited footage of cars racing, presumably bacuse the producers would have to pay FOM for this.
I recorded one on Senna (yet to watch it though) and there was a Schumacher film as well. These may not tell us anything new about the drivers but if you desperate for an F1 fix between races it might dampen the withdrawl symptoms a little.
