Current Lewis Hamilton

A place to put all the posts from all the other threads primarily but love him or hate him, and even for the indifferent amongst us this is the place to discuss the marmite that is Lewis Hamilton, to learn a thing or two about his rise, talk about those controversial, genius or mad moments and something that i am bemused by, the recent articles that suggest something quite different to my perception of what's going on. Any experiences of meeting LH?

Brundle had to write a Lewis Hamilton article recently and in my tweets (which were probably ignored) I asked him to talk about LH the driver not LH the personality. It seems that you can't have one without the other.

So as a starter for ten, here is a fairly recent LH article. Posts should not be limited to this link but it can get some discussion going. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/formula_one/13755883.stm

The only banned topic as it is clearly ridiculous involves these four things "Glock" "2008" "Brazil" "conspiracy"

Last year at Monaco, was one of the most dominant and best drives that I felt that Lewis had in his entire F1 career. This year was even better, because of variable weather and track conditions. Hamilton's strategy to stay out on the wets, although asked by the team to Box was a gutsy decision on his part, and proved out to be a decision, which helped in his victory at Monaco on Sunday.

I hope that all the talk about Lewis's personal life style, and how much of a negative effect that it has on his driving will come to an end, after his performance at Monaco in 2016.

What a race!

Lewywo4 not a chance! It'll be talked about forever more.

I too thought it was a great drive (although the 'defence' on Riccardo was a little cheeky. Just about legal) but it's nice to see him get a bit of luck to go with the performance.

Apart from when Bernie paraded his daughter and her husband on stage at the British GP after party, that was well deserved and definitely what the Motorsport fans wanted to see.

With the field spread converging rapidly at the moment Hamilton has actually been the biggest beneficiary. Clawing back 34 pts in 2 GP is pretty handy work and this would have been largely impossible without retirements in the recent past.

Since the change in the regulations have starts become a bit of a weakness for Hamilton? He seems to lose out to Rosberg more often than not since the regulations changed.
