After nico Hulkenburg fantastic podium. he is now no longer the "greatest F1 driver thats never stood on the podium" so the question who takes hulkenburg's crown

Jarier had 3 podiums

Pierluigi Martini might be a good call, given that he spent most of his career with Minardi, yet achieved a 4th place…

i think ive got to bow to better knowledge as alot these drivers ive only seen in classic F1. so i dont know whose the most talented.

Yeah, none of those drivers would be defined as great. I guess the real question would be "who had the most opportunities to grab a podium but failed to deliver?"

i probably shouldve changed the wording. as i thinking more the more most talented driver that never stood on a podium. hulkenburg was hugely talented driver that just never in right place at the right time to get a shot in ferrari Mercedes or red bull

maybe im underrating sutil. but he never blew me away in the midfield

Martini heard very good things about him & what he did in a minardi. but i never saw him live

Not to be a party pooper, Nico Hulkenberg is now the driver with the most races to never have won one.

I'm going to suggest that Alex Zanardi is probably the best driver on that list, with Marc Surer in second place. Most of the rest are make weights and pay drivers.

but zanardi brilliant outside of F1, really struggled in a good car with only 1 good race in 1998. Buemi i thought was impressive in F1 & out of F1. was only dumped because at that point red bull only gave drivers 2 years. if he had been driving later in his career like sainz he wouldve had 5-6 years
