Out on track, things continue to get spicy as the remaining six cars look for a points finish. Hill has now cruised into the lead with a mega scrap for the next places between Raikkonen, Senna and Lauda. Button and Hakkinen are now slopping back.

Oh no, disaster strikes. Quite literally. Hakkinen, making his final pit stop of the race, pulls up at the Lotus pit and suddenly a bolt of lightning strikes the car and destroys well, pretty much everything. What bitter luck. At least Lotus come away with a hard earned point.
