As interested as I am in seeing a new top echelon of open wheel racing ... I am also interested in the different venues / tracks they will be visiting ...

They might get it having had the amazing idea not to charge the race stagers 27 million dollers to hold the race but.....get this.....let then hold it for free and therefore be able to afford to do so.

Formula E can't be any worse than Formula one at the moment surely as Formula one is now FUBAR.....

How much do the Formula E battery packs weigh compared to an equivalent powered engine? Anybody with some rough estimates?
Virgin racing are set to announce their Formula E line up next week and have put this little teaser on you tube.
I have a sneaky suspicion thats Sam Bird as I think I spy a Union Jack on his overalls.

......and apparently I missed it but Audi have announced a line up Lucas Di Grassi and Danial Abt.
I think there may be a theme of experience driver/up and coming driver in these line ups.
Abt's dad runs the team so was kind of expecting him to be in but he is pretty dam quick and has troubled the front in every series he's raced in.
