agreed. judging by F1 academy which were F4/FRECA level. its a 21 second gap between the pole times. i know he spent winter testing some F3 cars but as we saw from bearman at weekend. testing is 1 thing racing is another
 
it looks as if the antontelli we all we were told expect has finally arrived. as he has stuck it on the front row for feature race. but dont read in to bearman too much as he had such bad luck he had 2 runs in qualifying & on both of his 1st laps when tyres obviously at its freshest he was affected by a red flag
 
a sour note of stewarding again, a start line crash. that was half racing incidents not looking to the left when moving left. which meant the penalty was inevitable after ruining 2 peoples races. it was a shame they took so long because after that it was a dominant drive from hadjar & also denied stanek his moment & maini on the podium. it was a shame because after that it was a dominant drive from hadjar

Antotelli who running well in 5th had a crash when he spun out in 3rd to last corner running wheel to wheel & bearman it was good damage limitation to finish 8th avoiding the carnage, after the qualifying that had him 15th because of becoming hampered on 3 of his 4 quick laps
 
watching F2 feature race & what a race, who says monaco is always boring. that was absolute thriller from lap 15. i can only hope F1 is as good as that later

Zak O'Sullivan started 15th, typical Monaco fashion they went to the casino. they stuck it all on black & when they had to pit on lap 40 & while in the final sector durksen crashed into maloney & o'sullivan managed to get into the pitlane before the VSC & came out in the lead

you have to be gutted for verschoor, got pole took the lead. only for riccardio 2019 issues & stricken car limping, desperately hoping to hold on. but became a sitting duck as the problem got worse & retired on lap 30

who says you can't overtake at monaco. bearman starting 12th & finished 4th. which will help out, as he was on pole for jeddah for called up for F1 & lead at imola only to stall at the pitstop

Kimi Antonelli 6th in championship & running 4th in feature is impressive. but after the pitstops as his teammate went forward this morning he went backwards due to 50/50 him being poor on the outlap & poor strategy
 
Bearman and Lawson have shonw what they can do in an F1 car. Has Antonelli had a run out in FP1 yet? If not, Mercedes should do this sooner rather than later, or Lewis should "get sick" one weekend to give the lad a run out.

None of the top five teams (current WCC) has placed rookie driver in FP1 yet. After British GP Alpine and Haas have used both their mandatory drives (Haas even one more), Williams and VCARB one.
 
ill be intregued to see how he gets on Il_leone as he has been very good this season managing the step up from F3

the interesting thing for me is that currently this antotelli saga???? is based on what we cant see. as i said everything coming out private test & mechanics think he's amazing. think he's the best feeder series talent since Lewis Hamilton & Max Verstappen. but his results dont show that, whereas i have faith that these know what their talking about

but if i was Mercedes purely on F2 nothing else i would be getting extremely concerned have i backed the wrong horse. because they let paul aron go & this is a guy thats doing what leclerc, Russell, Norris, piastri etc did & what we expected of antotelli
2021- 3rd in formula Regional
2022 - 3rd in formula Regional
2023 - 3rd in F3
2024 - 1st in F2
 
its absoultely hammering it down at silverstone in the Feature race & for the 1st time. i can see Antonelli talent as in 3 laps in the heavy rain he stretched out a 5.5 second lead before the VSC came out
 
Bearman winning the monza sprint race is a very good way to impress your bosses as a ferrari junior driver. & it was a brilliant drive started 8th as well flew through the field with cracking overtakes

these kerbs may have been criticised but if F1 is anything like F2 could be in for some cracking racing tomorrow
