F1 TV Coverage 2014

Whoever the FOM director is wants bloody shooting he spent a large proportion of Sundays race following two mercedes around when absolutely **** all was happening between them and then when one of them won, he stayed with the winner so we could listen to him thank the world and its dog for giving him such a great car he didn't even bother to follow what was going on with the racing for the rest of the field which was nearly a full bloody lap of actual racing action..

No, he didn't. I recall at the time thinking we'd rarely seen less of a warm down lap because he was showing the warm down lap. Surely there's enough to complain about with regard to FOM coverage without contriving your own nonsense.

Also, the idea in F1 is to win the Drivers' Title. The two Mercedes are competing for that. In fact, we barely saw the overtake because we were focussing on the Button/Alonso bunfight. Since said bunfight was the most interesting thing going on, that is correct but it is hardly showing a pair of Mercedes for 56 laps, is it?

Watched it, seemed more exciting than I remember! :D

But there was a lot more truth and 'real' feeling and explanation involved!
