Do we now need a "Which driver are you most ambivalent about?" to fully balance the whole thing?
I got involved in this thread, but now I am having second thoughts what motivated me to reveal it. I would delete it if I could. It was momentary brain fade. What good comes out from hanging our dirty laundry on the balcony? I don't feel any better by telling people whom I don't like, and drivers still have their job. There aren't any positives that I can detect in such admission. Besides, it is unfair to those people. If I don't like them, that's my problem. I am sure they have some friends and families who do.
I'm more surprised to see 3 votes against Ricciardo already.
I didn't go against RicciardoVettel fans.
I have to learn write more clearly about budgets, because if that's the impression I made on you, than I am at fault. I am not that person you describe, however my words were to serve as warning about potential damage such regulation will inflict upon sport, if mandated budget will be realized. IMHO it is a wrong medicine for misdiagnosed problems of the F1, generating uncertain outcome.Well, your first two choices are no surprise. But as you always get indignant about cost controls and budget caps...and tend to wax poetic about how capitalism is a wonderful thing and no one should ever place restrictions on how much or on what a team can spend money on......then I am surprised you voted against the kid whose daddy bought a team for him. It seems like the free market at its finest.

System of pay drivers rubbs me wrong way. Driver is risking his life, and (sort off) works for his pay, whilst also making money for his employer (WCC). The same employer should therefore pay him for his work and services provided, not the other way round. Whole value system has usury like stench in it these days.Well, we have had many arguments over this subject over the years. But....pay drivers is a part of F1 that I would like to see go away. There are couple of ways of doing this (budget caps would help...but so would stricter licensing requirements).

I put Perez down because like Stroll if it was not for his money his career would have probably been finished by now as an F1 driver
This surprises me, I would expect people voting Perez for not liking his personality or some incidents he's been involved in, but quality-wise he's one of the top drivers of the midfield.
i dont mind pay drivers getting on the grid in a backmarker minnow Minardi HRT Manor....
