Could the Renault alternator be Red Bull's undoing?

Vettel's alternator at Monza was a new one but it still failed.
It's not classed as part of the engine and can be changed freely without penalty.

No problems today, despite the stop/start nature of the Singapore circuit.

FB... True- although it's not necessarily a track with lots of low revs- due to the lower terminal speeds... If it was going to fail, I'd have expected it to fail just after the safety car....

I wonder which alternator they used; the old one or the new one?

Then there's the redesign which should be available for Japan.
