A British Powerboat racer has been killed in a high speed crash in West Africa. William Nocker who lived in Cheltenham was travelling at speeds of 120mph, when his boat flipped on the water & barrel rolled during the Gabon Grand Prix. The 47 year old was returning to the sport after a 5 year suspension for tampering with another competitor's fuel supply. His co-driver Kurt Olsen from Norway, was badly injured & is in a critical condition in a Gabon Hospital
