what a 1st half. 3-0 up by half time at Leicester. couldve very easily have been 4 or 5.
& bristol city 1 up in the 2nd CTA derby in a week. Portsmouth dropping into the dropping zone

Got our goal in a dominant first 30 minutes and then spent the last 60 holding on as Pompey got increasingly stronger.

as great as we were in 1st half. blades were awful in the 2nd. i know Leicester had to chuck kitchen sink at us as they had nothing to lose.
but i dont know whether its fatigue or complemency as it has been a tiring week 3 games in a week including a derby that always emotionally. but we were nowhere in that 2nd half. all the attacking intent went along with the intensity. by hook & by crook held on

that's was so enjoyable. ive not seen a utd team attack that well for a long time. i might be mad but we are 3rd in last 10 game form table & 8pts off the playoffs this might be hecky dejavu
wilder being sacked might have been good thing. its revitalised him the difference between the last 10 games of 2nd spell last season & last 10 games of his current spell are huge
a stat. we scored 3+ in game 3 times. in the 46 game regular season 24/25. & weve already scored 3 goals 4 times since wilders return

It's certainly a fun if slightly exhausting season being a Bristol City fan this year. The only time I can predict the score with any degree of certainty is just after the Ref blows his final whistle.
One minute we're scoring freely and the next we could play for two nights and not score at all.
If we had two brass farthings to rub together and could afford to buy a decent striker we'd be a real threat to the top six.

i thought it was a good performance from the blades in the circumstances. I can forgive a fairly anonymous last 25 minutes because fatigue was always going to be a factor after 3 tough games in 6 days. 2 away games v wrexham & stoke. Cannon was better late than never, but he’s starting to look like the player we were told we were signing, which is encouraging.
But honestly, I’m shocked at Leicester. How do you go from FA Cup winners, a European semi-final to a lower mid-table Championship side in under 5 years. Judging by what I saw on the pitch, that squad has real dressing room issues. For me it’s rotten at every level. board level is mismanagement has been terrible.
They just didn’t look like a team on the pitch. After our second goal you had 21 & 7 were have a heated argument on the halfway line, and there were a few more flare-ups later on. No urgency, no cohesion. & tactically I was baffled. I genuinely have no idea what plan their manager was trying to implement. aside from hoof it to 39 & hope for magic

They had a fantastic team spirit when they did all of that but not necessarily the best individual players. Just look how quickly that squad was broken up. Some, like Danny Drinkwater went for ridiculous sums of cash. I think he spent the best part of 5 years on thousands of pounds a week playing for Chelsea's under 21's.
It also didn't help that they lost their Chairman in that tragic helicopter crash which also deeply affected the running of the club.
