Drivers name changes

A few drivers have changed their names Nelson Piquet was Nelson Piquet Souto Maior - Piquet being his mothers maiden name. Ayrton Senna da Silva - we all know. Bruno is Bruno Senna Lalli, Carlos Pace's first name was Jose, and, of course, Nigel Mansell's real name was Whinging Brummie git Mansell.

I wouldn't say I have to call him Senna. Infact quite afew of my comments on this thread show the opposite is true.

No, Ayrton chose to use the name Senna as there were "lots of da Silvas" in Brazil, and he thought that using the name Senna would make him stand out in the media more, and make it easier to get sponsorship... So yes, he was using his name to capitalize.....
