That's a corking start. I was going to post up Fernando's China jump start but thought it would be mean However in the course of my investigations I found this article - check out who he overtook to jump into first place
Petrov in Oz 2010:
Michael Schumacher in Suzuka 1998 and Alonso in Monza last year!
And Schumi in Monza 2011, overlooked by Alonso's start though!
I cant find any videos of Heidfelds start at Malaysia in 2011
Petrov video is incredible, almost gets ran into about 4 times! And then his mechanic doesn't even sounded excited or happy or anything! Also I felt like I was going to have a seizure too many randomly flashing lights. Schumi's was good too except for the fact that he was passing Marussias, HRTs, and Caterhams (well I guess Lotus back then).
How on Earth did Petrov make it to the first corner?!
Jos the Boss the only thing impressive about passing Senna was that nobody crashed in the process.
I always thought that was one of he greatest examples of threading the needle there ever was.
Nothing dramatic apart from the HUGE leap on everyone else. Quality.
Gilles in Brazil 1980 in the dog of a Ferrari.
I love the old Brazil track! Great vid FB
Lewis Hamilton and Giorgio Pantano make brilliant ones in GP2 Monza 2006.
