Head To Head Fernando Alonso vs Kimi Räikkönen

Il_leone Pretty impressive ain't it? 4 accidents in his first 4 races and still get more points than all red bull drivers and his teammate combined.:D

Just checked were all starting accidents.

Bushi - Malaysia was an engine failure. So, that gave Webber an 8 point start in the all-Bull battle and Bourdais 2 in the Toro fight, with Vettel yet to finish.

By the way, 3 accidents at the start in 4 races. For Vettel? I wonder if Grosjean's agent knows!

And back to the topic at hand, namely Raikkonen vs. Alonso. Here is some nice fan art from Korea; the only fan in attendance was apparently quite devoted!

The Ice Man V The Eyebrow Man

Only one man can be number one. Which will it be..?

Find out in Ep. 1 whether the team favours one over the other! And perhaps which is the one rather than the other...

Coming soon. Well, in 2014...

I'm guessin Fernando will throw in 2007, 2008 and 2009 into the argument.

I did wonder how long it would be before we had media quote mind games from Fernando.

His usual trick is to say how one guy is his closest rival and biggest worry when its someone else he's up against in an attempt to get them het up.

"Boo!", I say, "Boo!"

Ferrari and Apple have an intellectual agreement. Fernando should maximise his revenue potential and team up with Apple too.

Bringing you the iBrowse - Apples very own Web OS. Powered with the spirit of Fernando (might be a samurai); weaving webs since 2001.
  • Very reliable.
  • Hardly ever crashes for no reason.
  • Loads faster than any other browser.
Meanwhile, King Cornetto doesn't give a proverbial... You know.

I anticipate Alonso stealing Kimi's ice-cream next year, but whatever happens it should be interesting to observe.

I knew Alonso would be the first to open fire, in fact I don't expect Kimi to say anything in retaliation he'll probably just shrug his shoulders and say what he thinks isn't my problem....

Kimi is looking a bit shit.

Beaten in every race by FA this year and humped by over 50 seconds from Alonso today.

Coupled with a terrible end to last season, I am now of the opinion he isn't just needing more time or he is a bit off colour. I am now thinking he has lost it. This signing looks like a big mistake for Ferrari. They should of gone for Hulk.

To be fair, all the bad luck that Ferrari have suffered has gone Raikkonen's way. He seems to be losing a free practice per race and even in the testing after Bahrain Raikkonen's car was used it turned out to have damage which may well have been present during the race. On the other hand Alonso does seem to be driving out of his skin this season.

It seems that Kimi (like others whom we expect more of) are having trouble adapting to the new cars. It may have something to do with the additional adjustments required to be made in the cockpit whilst managing the torque and braking. There's an awful lot of multi-tasking going on in the car now. There probably wouldn't be much in it if it was just a case of pedal to the metal, braking, changing gear and steering the things, Maldonado's antics whilst trying to change a setting on his console might be an extreme indication of the problem.

All that is just a thought and of course i could be talking bollocks again. :D
