What can we learn from the fly-aways?

Just in from McLaren .... what had promised the world is looking oh so like an dog eared 1979 schoolboy atlas now ...

After being lauded after the Melbourne result for not giving away his (prime sponsor) virginity too cheaply ...

I think looking at the calender the first four races can no longer be considered fly-aways in their own right as the European calender is shrinking year on year it is now a global sport and logistically all races are fly-away events...

Could well be the case.

One thing easy to notice in China was that the Ferrari no longer looked sluggish on straightline speed.

Then again If they want to fight Merc on an equal basis it's a few seconds they need to find, not a few tenths...
