Webber's changing future... possibly!

Having just read this article maybe Lewis Hamilton's recent claims of Webber possibly retiring from F1 at the end of the season weren't as ridiculous and wide of the mark (no pun intended) as it first seemed.

I'm intrigued to get my hands on an aussie / english translation book, does mentor mean manager?
Also how do you run a GP3 team if your driving in F1? :dunno:

I don't think Mark is going to be very hands-on in either case.

As far as mentoring is concerned, my guess would be that Webber will be available on the end of the 'phone for advice, use his contacts etc. rather than being a day-to-day manager.

The GP3 team will essentially be run by Arden, who were Christian Horner's team before he got into F1, and who have an established GP2 team. Mark may be a co-owner and have input on major decisions but won't be involved in the day-to-day aspects. Fisichella had a similar arrangement with Coloni, I think, for some years. And Kimi Raikkonen is co-owner of a British F3 team.
