I'd like to see that regulation written in very clear language: during the safety car period, a following car may not come alongside the car ahead of it to any extent.
That would stop Verstappen's professional fouling to some extent at least.

I posted in the Indycar thread about how well the drivers in that series behave with regard to yellow flags, full course yellows and safety cars. F1 should look long and hard, and use them as an example.

The actions and attitude of F1 drivers, and the teams, towards the authorities and rules is disgraceful. Stop handing out fines, deduct points, give drivers grid penalties, and stop and go penalties in the race, this they will understand. They will also bleat like sheep, but the stewards and race officials need to take a much stronger line.
