Site Suggestions & Updates

I have investigated a "back to top" link but there seem to be issues with different browsers and/or mobile devices, etc.

I shall continue looking but if anyone knows of one which is free to use and works with all browsers and devices, please let me know.

GeoffP I'm down with that mate, I have an iPhone too, what I don't know about my devices is virtually everything. Let me know if you need anymore tips and please share the ones you discover.

There is a new chat version available with a host of additional features.

http://xenforo.com/community/resources/taigachat-pro-realtime-chat-shoutbox.1224/

Most notably:
  • New threads and posts are notified in chat, if enabled
  • Ignore function works in chat
  • Can choose your own colour for chatting (could get ugly)
  • Improved refresh and operation
  • Browser tab notification similar to Facebook
Looking at how much chat is used though, I'm not sure it's worth paying again for a new version (I already shelled out £50 on the current version).

However, if there is high demand then I will do so.

I have spent a few hours writting a GFG quiz. Now I can't post it.
When I try and copy and paste from Wordpad I get this error. Click stop and it wipes everything.
Help.

Hmm, interesting.
There's nothing in the error log.

Can you email me the file so I can try and see what the issue is?
Email address is <removed to stop spammers harvesting it>

Chrome FTW! :)

I have been using it exclusively for a few years now, with Firefox reserved for site development (the dev tools are better).

I noticed that in the news blocks on the home page the Sky one doesn't link to the F1 section of skysports but the the general skysports webpage whereas the BBC (the only comparable site) links specifically to the F1 section.
Also the link to the FIA page links to this. Not sure if this is a wrong link or just a case of the FIA's website being bad.

Not sure if this can be changed but I figured I'd point it out :)

Thanks Josh, appreciate the feedback.

I've just updated the Sky feed to the latest one (they changed it again, grrr) but the link only ever goes to the main sports page.
It's not something I can change as it's controlled by them.

As for the FIA, they removed their dedicated F1 feed sometime last year and now all there is, is a choice of three feeds, as you can see here: http://www.fia.com/media-centre/rss-feeds
Annoying but again there's nothing I can do about it.

P.S. If you're using Chrome, if there is no style-sheet associated with the feed then it will just look like a load of text - this is a Chrome problem, it works fine in FF and IE.
