I enjoyed the race. Ferrari had a bit of genuine pace, Merc were a bit rattled, and I even enjoyed Mr Winfinger's genuine happiness at winning in a non- Neweymobile. I thought last year had found him out as a one trick pony - only capable with Newey's / Red Bull's chassis, and unable to adapt to the new power units - I thought he was outstanding today.
At least there's a small chance of a real fight this year, but I thought Nico seemed a bit lost and defeated at times. A Ferrari revival could be his best hope of staying in the fight if they can take points of Lewis occasionally - or can they really challenge Mercedes for the title?
