Luca....

"The media played a fundamental role in the decision to replace me."

No, Luca, your dire performances played a fundamental role in the decision to replace you.

Still, though, bit harsh with calling him a spazz, Speshal

We'll know soon enough just how good or bad Luca's performance was.

If Giancarlo is able to match Kimi's pace during practice and qualifying then there really is no excuse.

I don't totally agree with that as Fisi has been racing in F1 whereas Luca hadn't even driven the car up until Valencia. Also there is the fact that Fisi can be quick on his day and was always a quick driver at certain circuits and when he had preferential or equal treatment (Renault years, depending on team-mate).

There is still not much of an excuse for being as slow as he was..

I know the media have a ridiculous effect on Politics, Sport and all the rest.

But when you qualify for your races last and finish the races last, in a car that got a 3rd and a win in the two races in the hands of your team-mate, the media could call you God and you wouldn't keep the drive.

Sorry, Luca, don't moan when you haven't brought home the bacon!
