I'm a little surprised the Lewis, like Seb only went for races from his career but there are some cracking drives in there.

Well, I suppose it's better than a repeat of Japan '89 or '90! However, if you type into google: bbc classic f1 1989(for example) it will come up with all the bbc classic races that have been used over the past 3 years for the particular year - there are some really good GP's hidden in there, and they're not at risk of being taken down by Bernie and his comrades
There have been a number of repeats and far too many of the races are too recent thus missing opportunities for younger viewers to learn some of the sports history.
Sorry, Lewis, not impressed. stick to your day job.
When was the last time Hamilton had, undisputably, the best car on the grid?
In interviews, Lewis has often said, that he doesn't watch the races he competes in. So unless he chooses races pre 2007 that he has watched, his view, from his car, in the races he has competed in are all he can choose from.I'm a little surprised the Lewis, like Seb only went for races from his career but there are some cracking drives in there.

I mean for one weekend, not the whole season. You got to look very far back. Arguably to China 08 and Kovy's performence makes that a tough pick.Never. Certainly not a car that was so dominant in quali.
Before, they used to get Legard to do a summary if 5live wasn't available, but now he's not there they don't as I assume that Brundle doesn't really care if ITV commentary is used. Either that, or, as part of the cost-cutting measures, it was just cheaper to use ITV instead of syncing 5live to the world feedAnd also James Allen and Martin Brundle's commentray for the 2007 Canadain GP was used? Anyone know why?
