Yes, the modern Doomsday Project. It needed a BBC Computer and a Laserdisc player. Only trouble was that combo was more than most schools could afford.
I worked for a company which fell into the trap of scrapping their old machines, resulting in them not being able to access their old design data. Testing updates on a customer working site is not to be recommended.
