F1 Midfielder or Winner Elsewhere?

I'd sooner have the CV of Dario Franchitti or Tom Kristensen than that of, say, Adrian Sutil. I hope I've understood the question correctly there.

Being an unabashed fan of Kristensen (who reminds me so much of 2 of my favourite drivers of all time: Jo Siffert and Pedro Rodriguez-the masters of the 917), I don't think he could have ever been a mere mid-fielder, even if saddled with the like of an HRT

I get the feeling that Kristensen would not have had to drive a HRT.

TBY- I totally agree with you. Kristensen is a great talent that any top team in any field of auto racing would love to have on board.
