Red bull & ford seem very downbeat. with Mercedes expected dominance. red bull not winning a race next season doesnt that ludicrous right now

Mekies expects ‘struggles’ amid Red Bull power unit project
Red Bull boss Laurent Mekies conceded during the team’s launch event that he is anticipating some “struggles, headaches and sleepless nights” amid the challenge of the squad manufacturing their own power units for the first time in 2026.

You can already tell the official F1 writer of design rules will be in trouble.

It looks like the majority of the design (all the twiddly bits) hasn't been finished or is being hidden in the rendering.

From what I understand, most of the teams are only launching the liveries, and the actual cars used are show cars…. We’ve already seen the real Audi, and it’s much more refined.
Why the teams think we need a livery launch, I don’t know!

im fasinated by this chat the new "double diffuser" potentially. with 16 to 1 ratio because its 16 to 1 when cold. with some thermal expansion of the combustion unit. mercedes & unnamed team. think theyve got a loophole to get 18 to 1 ratio & gain up to 3 tenths a lap
although im struggling on technical aspects. i assume its like toyota infamous spacer in WRC
