i couldnt think of the 1967 world champion for the life of me
 
For a long time, the answer to the winner of the most consecutive (real) GPs (ignoring Indy - as proper GP drivers didn’t go there!)

DH only won 8 races in his career and only 1 back to back.
 
Ironically, the person you were thinking of, actually entered the Indy 500 in the year he set his consecutive wins record. It was the only F1 race he retired from that season.

I’m amazed at how few people got 1971 right. However, the quiz is too easy, as it autofills all years that a particular team won… it would be much more impressive to remember that ****** won in 1983
