Getting this thread back to some seriousness conversation. I do like that they've decided to change the points system to a formula one style system. Plus there effectively doing what GP2, did with their calendar and following F1 around Europe. Are the teams still gonna be using Pirelli tyres? But i'm really looking forward to both GP2 and GP3 this season. Lets hope Eurosport don't mess around with its schedules and shows them both live!
Yep, I believe they're using Pirellis, but the races aren't long enough for compulsory pit stops, so no two compounds. Who's your favourite driver from GP3 if you have one, then?
Mitch Evans and David Fumanelli are with MW Arden for 2012. http://www.gp3series.com/news/2012/Mitch-Evans-signs-with-MW-Arden-for-2012-GP3-Season/ http://www.gp3series.com/news/2012/David-Fumanelli-Joins-MW-Arden-for-2012-GP3-season/
Alice Powell, Alex Brundle and William Buller are the three Brits to be confirmed for the GP3 season. Well looking forward to seeing what Alice Powell does, she hopefully will hold here own against the males in the sport. Also we have two other females confirmed so far Vicky Piria and Carmen Jorda. Also should be interesting fellowing Martins little lad . 3 WEEKS TO GO!
Really don't get why these guys weren't given the chance to run at Bahrain this weekend when the GP2 guys were there.
