Wimbledon 2025

i think jack draper will make a quarter final & not sure after that. as many times at queens he had times when he dropped to 0-40 & then played incredible tennis to hold. which is unnecessary energy to expend, you will get broken if you do that in the v alcaraz / sinner / djokovic. my worry is draper has got djokovic if it goes to the seeding in quarter final, which looks very tough. but hopefully the home crowd can get him through, but im going to predict a semi final line up
Alcaraz v Djokovic
Sinner V Nakashima

on the womens side. the talent is there as anyone who saw her 1st 2 games at queens. if emma raducanu can find away to not be fragile in her 3rd or 4th game of a tournament. because she plays great tennis & then her body breaks down. she could win a 2nd slam

Wimbledon is mad this year. So many big names have either struggled or gone out early, on both the men's & women's sides. On the women’s side in particular, a half of the seeds crashed out in 1st 2 rounds including 4 of the top 5.

That’s why I think the media is being overly harsh on Emma Raducanu. People judge her by the standards of the men’s game, where the top players are more dominant & consistent. But in the women’s game, it feels like the margins are so much finer. If you hit a purple patch, you can look unbeatable for 2 weeks. And if you're a top-5 player not quite at 100%, you can get beaten early. Just look at Coco Gauff (World No. 2, Reigning French Open champion), Jessica Pegula (World No. 3, warm-up tournament winner), & Tatjana Maria (Queen’s champion) all convincingly beaten in 1st round

Novak fought well on his way to the semi-final but he couldn't get past Sinner. It seems that his chance of winning the 25th Grand Slam is very much over now.

well we got the final we all expected i hoped djokovic would win wimbledon & then retire. its weird to have sinner in a final when he had effectively lost to dimitrov
