I have a feeling their may also be some partisan slight of hand going on here. I didn't want too get drawn to far into this side of the debate but it has been raised.

Drugs, as well as being a social and criminal issue are also, very clearly, a health issue.

Health is something the Scottish Government very definitely have control over. I'm certain that fix rooms (no different than making clean needles available to drug addicts or providing safe spaces in schools for those who self harm) could be made available under current Scottish health legislation with very little trouble if there was a will to do so.

Drug abuse is 17 times higher in poorer areas. Eliminating child poverty is the ultimate cure. Boris seems more concerned with giving millionaires tax breaks. Could the SNP do more. Yes but under westminster restrictions they are limited in what they can do.
