One for the more discerning amongst you, I thought we could start our own game.

Quite simple, we can follow the standard rules, for those who dont know the rules, a brief internet search should yield some good results.

To ensure everyone is included, there is no Knid, shunting is prohibited, and a double reverse is only allowed when employing a diagonal move.

Whoever gets to Mornington crescent first can start the next game, and choose the rules that we follow. I would advise against the Lloyd George New Mayfair rules though.

Happy playing!

Right, I shall start.

hmmmm

Euston Square.

Easy, according to the La Pieds rules, I can walk to Euston Station

Next....

edit: Bugger, Brogan, got there first. Scratch Euston Station.

Return to Great Portland Street for next player to carry on.

Depends if we are using the post 2012 sporting revision rules or the Jubilee line extension clause of the 1999 standard rules?

Sorry for the delay, but as we are playing by classic rules, dlr stations are out, unless being used as a crossway transition. Dlr termini are forbidden.

I may be wrong but following the Brooke-Taylor strategum, if there has been no ruling for 30 minutes or more then under the Cryer amendment to the original 2001 variation on rules for the inclusion of DLR stations, the next most senior player remaining in the game can if called upon, confirm the original rulings, so long as that player is not the one who first made the ruling or one who raised a subsequent challenge to the original ruling or subsections thereof, in which case the next most senior player by location to the station with which the original or subsequent rulings were subtended may make a ruling on behalf of the former or the latter?

cider_and_toast if you win, you get the opportunity to select the rules, I was trying to keep it simple.

Since you bring up the Cryer rulings, I would remind you of the officially accepted version of the ruling is that only the player who makes the first move can invoke the ruling. Players who attempt to invoke, using the official Littleton sanction shall be diverted to a siding, hence missing a turn.

Now, can we please get back to the game.
