Its now official. GTA 5 is on its way. Rockstar Games are currently working on the next instalment of one of the most fun Driving n Shooting games to grace the PC, PS3 and Xbox.

The bad news is it will be at least 2013 before it actually goes on sale. Release date still to be announced.

But the first sneak peek trailer will be shown at 5pm Wednesday 2nd November 2011 on http://www.rockstargames.com/

Fingers crossed its just as good as GTA IV
 
I gave up on GTA IV and sold it.
By far the worst one in the series.

If they go back to how it was in San Andreas and similar then I might be interested again.
 
I got bored very quickly with GTA IV.
I'm really hoping number 5 isn't 'more of the same', because that's what playing number 4 was like already!

I agree SA was a better map, but only really because it was bigger and you could have a nice fly around in planes rather than just helicopters. GTA IV is my favourite of the series.
 
I just found IV monotonous and dull.
The stupid police chase system was the worst bit about it.

Oh and not being able to smack the pigeons with a baseball bat.
 
I wanna fly a plane into a wind turbine.On another note, anyone notice the dog.
It will be a truely incredible game.
Now time to forget about it as it will take at least two more years to come out. :disappointed:
 
Looks flippin awesome. Watched the trailer 5 times now. LOL
Helicopters, Jet planes, boats, bikes, cars and .... golf.... :tumbleweed:

I had rather hoped they would have a coming DD.MM.YY at the end of the trailer. Still never mind.
Just have to fill in the time with COD MW3.

I've heard the release date could be 24th May. Whether that is 2012 or 2013 I'm not sure but there are lots of references to that date in the trailer.
 
Available today for Pre order.
Another trailer expected in a day or two. Trailer was delayed due to New York Office hurricane damage.
Game release now rumoured at spring 2013.

I'll probably buy it (eventually) but the peak of GTA gaming for me was GTA San Andreas and around that time.

I actually got bored of GTA IV and can't remember if I even completed it.
 
I like Rockstar games but I never got on with grand theft auto, whereas I love the max payne series...

I think the reason was that in GTA I would nick a car and before one block either the car was knackered or I was arrested, it pissed me off, I like to ram a few things before smoke starts poring from the engine, and I like to smack a few coppers around the head before they arrest me....
 
I enjoyed the GTA games, until San Andreas, I found the game far too large, too much ground to cover, and it was very difficult to pick up and drop (as I seem to need to do frequently) I missed out of 4 totally, although I did get Liberty City Stories.

I am quite looking forward to it, as we will by then have both an Xbox (for the kids/wife) and a PS3 for myself!!
