Typical  Montezemolo knee jerk reaction, 'heads must roll' is the only solution?

Early in the interview he says;

Then a couple of lines later he says;

So I will kick ass if the car is not good enough yet, but I also know that its a new aggressive attempt and it will therefore take a while to unlock its potential

but if he sacks staff, whos gonna unlock its potential?
