This is a gentle reminder to please refer to all drivers, teams, team members, and other associated individuals by their proper names.
Nicknames such as Schumi, Hammy, etc. are fine but insulting and derogatory terms such as those that are generally used for Bernie and some drivers are not.
A good rule of thumb is if you wouldn't like a driver who you support being referred to in this manner then don't do it.
Ribbing and banter is of course permitted, and in most cases encouraged
, but we want to make the site as open and welcoming as possible to fans of all teams and drivers. If drivers are being insulted however then it's only going to alienate the members who support them, not to mention encourage flame wars, which we want to avoid at all costs.
