He'll have a tough time of it to begin with, but he can do his learning out of the public eye.

Not so sure he can GM. Thanks to the testing ban the only chance he'll have to get to grips with the car is Friday practice and then it's into Saturday and Qualification which is going to be very much in the public eye. I think he's going to experience something of a baptism of fire.

It seems that STR have dropped back behind Force India in the battle to avoid being bottom of the pile. It will be interesting to see how the FI's get on in Hungary which tends to be something of a performance leveller. If they can maintain their progress over the last few races then STR could be in deeper poop. The next question is how much longer can Red Bull afford to fund two teams ??

From F1 Junkie:

Paul Tracy, a bitter rival during Sebastien Bourdais' successful prior career in the United States, has said he is "not surprised" Toro Rosso fired the Frenchman half-way into his second formula one season. "The guy was a misery even when he had the best car and was winning everything, so I guess he's been pretty unbearable this last 18 months," the Canadian wrote in his racer.com blog.

If Torro Rosso fired Bourdais for being miserable he might just have a case for unfair dismissal LOL

Perhaps if he had just driven a bit faster...
