BTCC A great drive from Rob Collard

An absolutely superb drive from Rob Collard in the 3rd race at Oulton Park to come from 20th on the grid and finish 4th.

Another lap or 2 and he would have taken Matt Neal for 3rd.

It's a shame the BTCC races are so short. It would be nice to see an extended race of 40 to 60 laps which would obviously involve tyre changes and re-fuelling, just to see how the cars and drivers would cope on extended runs.

All in all though, some great racing today

Yes, it was a superb drive from Rob, he's really added a maturity to his driving that had previously been sorely lacking.

Disappointed to see my man Turkington fade in that final race, I'm sure there will be circuits coming up that suit the Vectras better than the BMWs.
