How affordable is it for locals to attend an F1 race?

I was chatting to a chap on the plane to Barca, he'd gone to the Malaysian GP a few times, and said it was the best when it came to food value.

Factoring in food, drink, accommodation and GP tickets, I bet Mexico would be much higher up the list. (Edit: at least for visiting Westerners)
