Top Speed Comparisons #9 - Nürburgring

I posted these comparisons from 2006 to 2008 to illustrate changes in top speeds as
measured through the speed traps.

Since the 2008 German GP took place at Hockenheim, there is no value in comparing
speeds. These were the top speeds registered by each driver during the event.

That's interesting! A lot was made about Ruben's "only" posting 11th fastest lap of the race but no mention was made that his fastest lap was still better than Jensons. (all be it by a tiny margin).

I still don't understand why most pundits were so keen to rubbish Rubens this weekend?
