    Question, when is best to use 'and' or '&' during a sentence, paragraph, etc, is there any definition as to when either are best used?

    Nope, it is a word, quite an old one refering to archery.

    It's the chosen spelling of people who can't spell 'losing'

    An affect has an effect. Simple.

    Practice and Practise is a good one. I know a really clever way of knowing when to use the c or s spelling.
