I've had to vote coffee although I do like a good strong cup of tea but find that coffee best disguises the crap taste of our flouridated water. Haven't had a truly good cup of tea since my favourite cafe got demolished to make way for a motorway slip road / overpass complex.
I drink more tea than coffee and it has to be good strong brew - in fact, I usually leave the teabag in! Coffee is a once a day thing - I like really strong coffee as well but it does tend to make me really hyper - now, we can't possibly have that, it would give totally the wrong impression!!
Have you tried a Long Island Iced Tea? PLENTY of alcohol that really does (when done properly) taste just like iced tea.
I'm a tea person - just once a day after breakfast. I really don't like the taste of coffee, especially freshly ground.
Yes siffert_fan, i am familiar with its delights. Indeed, it is often used as a sneaky gum-tickler at work evenings as it just looks like a glass of Pepsi.
Both. Tea for comfort & coffee to keep me awake, especially nice is a big steaming cup of coffee & an early morning GP on the TV
Both, but rarely. A nice fresh ground cup of coffee and a smoke 1st thing in the morning makes Spesh a happy boy (it also loosens one's undercarriage perfectly) Tea, make it bastard strong, add milk and 2 sugars and I'll love you for life. As HammydiRestarules mentioned, the Twinnings factory is about 3 miles from me, I get really cheap teabags - like 1p a bag for 500 Jen if you like a stewed brew get the Twinings everyday bags - yellow box - you can dunk one of those bags in for 10 seconds and it will suffice
Tea seems to be clear winner but what is the best way to make it? My method is: Place bag in empty cup, pour on boiling water. Leave for 2 minutes. Remove tea bag without squeezing it. Add just enough milk to make it a nice caramel colour add one sugar and enjoy!
