The other moment that immediately sprang to my mind was this one, strange how crashes stick in the mind. This one must be the biggest impact in F1 that a driver escaped from without serious injury.

How were his feet unharmed....

Is it just me or did his legs look disproportionately long?

soccerman17 Maybe a little, but I think it's exaggerated by the way the drivers are sat in the cars. It's a bit like they're sitting in a bath or slightly reclined chair, i.e. their arse is in front of their head, for want of a better description!

9 down and 1 to go. It's American, although he was a fine driver that competed 2 years in F1 (his best result 4th) and won Le Mans. He is better know for constructing one of the most iconic American race cars.
